On Monday January 25, 2010, the International Academy of Gastronomy held its annual General Assembly at hotel Le Bristol in Paris. During this meeting the representatives of the different academy-members have re-elected unanimously their president, Mr Georges Husni, who is currently President of the Syrian Academy of Gastronomy. The International Academy of Gastronomy, which purpose is to safeguard and develop regional and national cultures and their culinary heritage.
